Dame Lesley Lawson Hornby is better known to most as Twiggy since rising to fame in the swinging ’60s. Her androgynous appeal is why she landed an endless list of modeling jobs, including being the 1966 “Face” of the Daily Express. Once she left the runway, Twiggy found success as a screen and stage actress.

You might have also seen the Golden Globe winner sitting on “America’s Next Top Model’s” judging panel. In 1988, she penned a memoir titled “Twiggy in Black and White.” The publication earned her best-seller status. Twiggy still graces our screens, and in 2019, we saw her in “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.”
