The Nazca Lines are a series of geoglyphs located in the Nazca Desert in Peru. They are believed to have been created between 200 B.C. and 700 A.D. Similar geoglyphs can be found throughout the world. They are noteworthy because they cannot be recognized as coherent figures except from the air, suggesting that they may have been built by a civilization having flying knowledge or capability. Why else would a culture go to such great lengths in creating these massive drawings?
