This tree that can be found in Inyo National Forest’s “Forest of Ancients,”is named after the 969 year old character from the Bible. In 1957 samples from the tree pointed towards the fact that it was 4,789 years old at the time and it’s only getting older.
Well professor, Methuselah is older than the Egyptian pyramids and even though it lives in a horrible place for a tree it’s still thriving.
