Kellie’s Castle, Perak

Have you ever been to Perak? If you have, you should know that Kellie’s Castle is one of the tourism attractions in Perak. William Kellie Smith, a Scotsman, owned this magnificent house in Perak. However, because he died of illness before it could be completed, it was kept unfinished for more than 80 years after his death.

According to legend, the castle’s underground tunnels were previously utilized by Japanese invaders to torture and murder its victims. Others claim to have seen Smith’s soul roaming the building’s second level, while some claim to have seen the spirit of a dead construction worker who died there.
