Fort Mifflin is a major battle site that dates back to the Revolutionary War. The ghosts of many soldiers are said to haunt the fort. The most famous among them are the ghost of a lamplighter and the “Wailing Woman,” who is said to be mourning the loss of soldiers in the revolution. Reportedly, sounds of the blacksmith shop can be heard throughout the fort.
